[today] well...today tien court restaurant fully booked le..so changed venue to holiday inn park view. haha! ok lah...quite nice lah the food...butta it was more like high tea rather than lunch. Maybe becoz today is sunday ba..haha!
met ivan & jw later @ takashimaya...also saw ivan's pal..haha! thanks for ya presents...very cute! haha! eh ivan paiseh ah ur bdae i didnt buy anything for u..so owe u one gift lah..hehe! Had a great chat with them...and with my mum & tuan..surprised ba? my mum cld talk to anyone! haha!
well, 19 is kinda scary to me...ya dun remind me i know that i am old liao. There are certain things that i cannot do after i reach 20 lah...but i am not quite prepared for adult life. Life maybe the same but people will expect different things from me lah. Mature thinking, reponsibility, independence etc...guess i gotta start working hard on them. Haha!
Hmm...now aiming @ two stuffs...my new "to-buy" list! Looking for a pair of nike sports shoes & a new handphone! hehe!

Sotong good friday...haha!

[yday] alot of things to blog...so get ready..haha!
[movies] went to watch "the eye 10"....60% of the time the whole cinema was full of laughter...the screams only came frm the movie itself..( think ppl who got read zaobao shld have seen the review) yup...seemed like a comedy horror film..haha! actually it was just showing ways to see ghosts...i think " the eye" by li xin jie was the most fantastic film in the 3 series. Well, again i wld only recommend it for a weekday show...nt really worth $8.50. The story was quite interesting though.
saw 4 horror flicks thriller also...only 3 i wld recommend u guys to watch...shld worth $8.50..depends lah. "Samsara" is a re-make version of " the ring". pple who had seen the original japanese version no need to waste money to watch it liao...definitely nt as interesting as the japanese one...and the story is the same...sianzz!
me planning to watch " house of wax" ..haha! a grp of pple went to this place which cld nt be found on a map..and went to see the hse of wax lah..inside gt many wax figures..and actually..they were made out of real ppl.....can even see how they made the ppl into wax figures...haha! shiok right? " cursed" is a story sort of link to werewolves...quite terrifying!
"creep" is sort of gruesome murder in a train...and mrt station ....ahha! very interesting also...
[shopping] my sis and i were planning to buy some clothes lah..but couldnt find any nice ones.
went to centrept...gt a shop called "estique"..looked posh but u will be surprised with the prx of the clothes...haha! i bought a blouse @ $33...great deal...coz the material is good! sis bought a lady-like shirt @ $19! great deal too! haha! recommend it to those who wanna buy working wear or mature clothing!
[meals] wah seh....went to ni jyuu maru @ 6pm..hehe! ate my fav dishes again...suzuki sashimi was nice!!! haha! my sis & sc were nt used to japanese cuisine ba...but nvm lah...still gt other things nice mah...hehe!
then we met aunt jo @ pasta cafe, takashimaya! yeah! long time didnt go there liao...ate spaghetti lah, pizza lah, tiramisu & ice coffee vienna! haha! sc abit sua gu lah...nvm...always gt ur first try sia?! haha! anyway, still find the pasta here better than pastamania..haha!
eh...ate 4 diff styles of sotong also...gt japanese grilled sotong, fried sotong, sotong in pizza & chili sotong in spaghetti...wahahha! me sotong queen le~~
[finally] went to kinokuniya to help sc buy a japanese dictionary...cant find a good one...bo bian have to pick the best out of them...hmm...not expensive so nvm lah...!
[tv] alamak...."the 'w' files" are damn nice lor...added to my tv list liao...horror...gt so many things to watch. " pawnshop no.8" tv version is not nice at all...disappointed! yes! today gt "lovers in paris" eh~~~ haha!

[holiday] yes! finally good friday is here le! wah seh seems like i very happy hor? haha! Dunno why..not dun have school hols le felt that holidays have shorten alot ne~hehe! just booked tickets to watch " the eye 10"..and added one more person to watch...tt is my atm..coz she is visa-holder mah! bo bian dragged her go! sc u ok hor? dun be too scare in the theatre hor? wahah! Think tmr can go shopping...hehe!
[big day] received my 3rd gift today from yurong..haha! thanks hor u walked all the way to my mailbox sia...the card is really cute...thanks! haha..btw, kenna suaned by my mum for forgetting to buy u a gift...paiseh ah! haha!
Yup! confirm le! sunday my whole family + aunt jo will go to "tian chu" to have lunch..hehe! heard that the set lunch is delicious wor? haha! very happy ne..coz long time didnt step into a restaurant to have meal lah..haha....going mad liao!

Bankrupt sunday

[today] only 4 of us met up today...nvm lah...we can still meet the rest someday yeah? haha...changed our plan & went to suntec to watch movie..couldnt watch "son of the mask"..so we chose to watch " Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events". Hmm...not a bad movie ( better than to watch son of the mask lah!) haha! ok lah..that movie wasnt a really sad one, even though the author kept stressing on that. It was rather adventurous as the kids violet, klaus & sunny escaped from all the dangers with their smart plans..haha! Jim carrey was that evil Count Olaf lah...somehow he couldnt shake off this "mask" character..haha! though evil but also quite funny lah...he got changed into many different appearances to get close to the kids. Sunny was very lovable as she could bite anything! haha! I would recommand u guys to watch it on WEEKDAYs..haha! ( can choose a better movie worth ur $8.50)
Hmm....went to have lunch @ pasta mania...got my 2nd big day gift from my sidang...it was a newbie shirt..thank you...haha! i dun have that brand's stuff at all..wahhaha! Think gc & sc went to bugis earlier in the morning to buy it right? wahhaha! ok lah....wanna say thanks again!
Yup..spent quite alot today..sobbzz! bought wt's gift @ dcp & sherry's @ kinokuniya...( going bankrupt le lah!!!!) haha! lucky april dun have pals' birthday ( hopefully!)

Ah Qing's memorial journal # 3 - Beijing, China

[#3] 17/6/2000-23/6/2000 Ah Qing was 14 yrs old
Well..i think i had waited for another trip for too long..haha! Hmm...we went to Beijing,Tian jin & Cheng de during the 7 days trip & we took SIA again...( didnt really enjoyed the journey when i was on my way back...something wrong with my ears...pain..sobbzzz but the salmon dinner was nice..whaha) First day went to see za ji performance @ a hall...their standard is ok..but i think there are a few more professional ones...(like from shenyang etc) Went to visit Gu Gong as well as Tian An Men square..really ren shan ren hai sia~ haha! met other fellow singaporeans too..u know ctc got many groups of aunties ..lolx! The sad thing abt tt day was we cannot enter the building where mao ze dong's embalmed body lies...haiz...it was closed for maintanance i think...ke xi ! Also saw rem min da hui tang...magnificant!
There were many parks in beijing lah..like bei hai gong yuan & the famous yu he yuan...very scenetic.....The ming dynasty wax museum was full of different sections showing different ming kings i think...
Mei shang guo chang cheng fei nai zi han! ya!!! must climb the great wall mah! haiz..my mum & I quite shi bai lah..becoz we were affected by the altitude of the great wall..started kenna running nose..nvm..sis and dad climbed really far...ok..i think they reached the 5th stop or what..haha! some foreigners were siao de...run down the stairs lor..ok lah they were confident they wont fall lah...ahha! but i think better dun try that out...once u fall ah dunno where u will land.
Tian tan was really a magnificant building...forgot abt the story behind it..haha!
took a 5 hrs bus ride to cheng de..a small city outside beijing ba..haha!
we were brought to this place where "huan zhu ge ge" was filmed at..also we visited da guan yuan...really shi qing hua yi ne~the most tedious thing on that day was to climb the xiao bu da la gong ( a tibetan temple ) dunno how many steps ah...250++? haiz...go china bo bian have to climb here and there u c...haha! anyway the real bu da la gong is in tibet ah..think much higher than the china one...u could view great sceneries when u reached the top of the temple..hoho!
Visted yong he gong...i think it was related to the qing emperor yong zheng? haha! anyway, qing buildings were quite special somehow lah..like at the entrance there was a "pai" saying the name of the building, with inscripts of the Qing language beside the chinese words.
I bought a chinese chess set @ tian jin..then also bought a set of chinese cha ju..whahaha! my sis and i even had a few rounds of wu zi qi with the tour guide richard..hoho! we win lah of coz! eh..tian jin's famous bao called gou bu li bao zi is not nice to eat ok...haha! u know..even dogs dun wan to eat the bao..nice meh? Tian jin's food was much better than beijing..coz they got fresh seafood...beijing's food was rather "terrible" damn oily and meaty..they hardly eat vegetables de..sobbzz! Had my stay in beijing international hotel, not bad lah...many singaporeans stayed there too...
Go china sure they will bring u to those tea house/shops where u can buy different kinds of tea lah..butta actually dun need to buy so much de..not that cheap also. Eh .. i remembered abt a meal called "huang di can" or the meal of the emperor..wah seh...many plates of chicken and eggs in different style...damn sianz..bei fang ren ate alot of meat..so bo bian lah.
Didnt eat much fish there...remembered i ate one which got a strong ni tu smell..alamak...fainted!
beijing's famous xiu shui jie had gone le lah...becoz the govt wants to revamp that area...it was near those embassys of other countries..saw singapore de...pink house..wahahah! Anyway that street was full of imitations lah..alot alot hor..and dun be surprised to see ang mohs k? haha!
u can also see the red army soldiers marching on the streets..think 45 degrees huh? wah seh very neat eh...kaoz!
the shopping centres there dun sell cheap stuff..i think now maybe more expensive..haha! I dun like the shou du airport also...very metallic and quiet..haha! ok it was new then lah..maybe now better liao...who knows?
the haiding area is famous also..becoz it is the home of many beijing's universities..haha! i got passed by Peking uni's entrance ah...haha! Anyway, can try to visit there too...

[newest member] haha...must be wondering what is it yeah? nothing lah...my 1st big day gift this yr frm mum & aunt joanna! thank you! very special (yet kiddy ne...coz very colourful!) Yup, just welcomed the newest member to my swatch collection...this watch lai tou bu xiao! It is a limited edition watch only sold in Japan! made in the yr 1999! Wahahhahaha~ belongs to the swatch original family. ( wanna know more abt swatch family? pls go to their webby...) Got hand-written japanese words @ the back of the strip...errr..got english translation too..but not quite nice...wahaha!

Schools' admissions lor...last week i had applied the 3 local unis lah..today just "managed" to apply SP...( other polys no chance le..think need to appeal or what) sc & me cong cong mang mang went to apply online in office..lucky boss & gm not in..phew~ So now, left sim le..very sicked abt the application fees..they can earn alot lor! haiz...
browse thru some local forums about distance learning in singapore, how recognised are the certs etc...the only conclusion is that if i really study SIM ah..i must transfer to their campus somehow...yeah! even branded unis but dist-learning may not be useful afterall..i even saw some pathetic cases there when some companies see those degrees as the same standard as local polys lor...what the heck! ok lah..these was what i read from the forums lah, actually if u guys sotong as me can go there and read...definitely can benefit somehow...

Had a fantastic meal @ ni jyuu maru~ Curry rice, oyako don, fried oysters, sotong, assorted sashimi ($35 hor!) wah seh...dman full man! Wanna ask my pals to go there & eat someday! Shiok!
chiong back home to catch "lovers in paris"..nice drama leh! though the story was really normal...cinderella-style u know? butta the cast was fantastic lah...kim jung eun! ippo yo! (pretty) park shin yang & lee dong gun were so ....charming..wahhaha! ( ok i am not hua chi lah...they are not handsome lah..butta got character...u c)
quite funny lah the story...even my mum got watched 1/2 the show leh..( she said kim jung eun was ugly..but her face was funny when she got that "blur" look..diaoz)

~Guitar concert @ SRJC~

[concert] just came back ah..well, it was the first time that guitar club had their own concert in school! good try guys! With guest performance from Blood Vessels ( that vocal sux..some more from choir i think..alamak), guzheng essemble, choir & guitar alumni ( the 7 th batch). Well, honestly the best performance was from my seniors lah..they are pro in guitar lor..haha! really relaxing when I heard that music...Choir was much more better than last yr..at least got more strength ( more ppl..) and they got a new coach. Guzheng was good also..i mean their skills. No doubt they had firm backgrounds liao..think the only problem was that the songs were not interesting enough..too "calm"..haha!
Back to my juniors lah..the gals' costumes were really striking...red! haha! cost alot eh...together with other accessories. Basically they had improved alot, but there is still room for improvement, especially on their SYF songs. I wish them all the best in the coming SYF on Apr 20 @ SCH...jia you! Guitar rox~
[sch results] went to see our cohort's perfomance on the notice board..quite disappointing. Think SR will be the last JC again..haiz! Our class got 2 ppl cant make it ( didnt get full cert) well, think the Art's performance was slightly better than the Sci...but of coz there is nothing to be happy about. Heard from junior that Mrs Kok was very unhappy about our results and gave the current J2s a stern warning...she even said our batch was complacent..( i think it was unfair to say that just becoz we didnt do well..many of us did improved actually, just that we cant reach the mark.)
[tmr] maybe going to SIM open house with JW they all..but that is on the condition that i can leave office @ 12pm. Hope that boss wont come to office tt early..wahahha!
[future] settled all the local unis' application le~left pte courses liao. Poly i shall hold on to it for a moment, think gotta go down personally to settle my admission thing...haiz! sianz....felt tired thesedays....

[dinner] yes! yummy curry chicken rice~haha! so long didnt eat liao, now very full eh! hehe! thanks mum!
[today] got my feb pay. Was abit little, coz i took leave...but nvm lah! going to save 3/4 of it in my bank a/c tmr or so..haha! suddenly want to save more money...coz i think my studies will cost quite abit haha!
i was very slack today, coz not much task was given to me. Evening time then got work, and that is to count the salary for the workers..alamak! Online from morning till afternoon also, lucky got my si dang to chat with..or else i would bored to death. haha!
ordered a curry chicken pizza frm pizzahut..haha! siao liao~ long time didnt eat le leh! tasted so well~ yummy yummy! ( think i will get fat very soon~)
[gathering] planning a bbq/or singing session with my si dang..hope can make use of the good fri hol..hehe~ as for my jc pals leh? i also wanna meet u guys wor~ but then like very hard to meet, so how ah? anybody organising? I am fine with any activites besides shopping..haha! ( no expensive stuff hor~)

[yday evening] went to meet hm & ch after work with sc. haha! took 25 & i didnt realised the journey was tt long...fell asleep. Hm lah..thought bedok central gt bbq food..end up dun have! wasted my trip ah HM! haha! u really sotong de leh! haiz...but anyway, had my first taste of cooked oysters ( orh jian) quite nice lah..but i dun like the flour ( i am strange ok? other ppl like it so much...) had a great chat with them lah....coz we dun c each other everyday le..
[gathering] maybe....on good friday (25/3) hm they all like wanna go singing. Thinking to go kster or partyworld ( did i get the name right?) but then quite ex leh...or maybe weekends ba..haha! long time didnt go singing loh!

lost in the world of certificates

[yday] went to the career fair, nothing much lah. haiz~dunno what to study if i cant enter local uni. Sianz
Went to my cousin's hse after that. Dad went to fix her broadband stuff...very troublesome! haiz..dunno is it her comp got prob or the singnet student plan got prob...jia lat! think her comp will be fixed today? good luck ah! haha!
Anyway, had a great steamboat meal there lah...ate my fav cang yu! haha! got ate abalones also..haha! quite good lah...ate 2 bowls of rice also...( fat fat fat!)
[future] think many of us are somehow lost lah..lost as in dunno what to study. even ppl with gd grades maybe facing that too. haha! that piece of paper is still impt to determine our future..even though it may still lead us to be unemployment. well, hope to find a route for myself soon. dun like to be in this kind of situation now.
[friday] gg to sr's guitar concert. too bad jw is not going.
[sat] gg to have japanese meal @ ni jyuu maru again! yes! better dun eat that much lah..no $$ to pay later.

[A levels] haiz...above my expectations, but then i can go no where. Bo bianz...blame myself for this kind of sucking results ba. Didnt expect that i can passed every subject, got a B3 for GP, econs scored better than cla...haiz...butta i didnt do well. How leh? hanging in mid-air now..
went to see sim and mdis..the courses are limited and boring. I know i cannot be picky now, hope that i can see more courses coming out. haiz.
Rather surprised and sad that my class didnt do well. I dont know why, especially those who were supposed to do well. What happened? how come our cla results sux? Think our teachers were disappointed with us ba? especially zeng lao ye & jian gui. Sorry we didnt do our best.
[friends] wanna say a big thank you for all ya smses and encouragements. I felt bad that i didnt do well..haha! wanna say congrats to those who had done well yeah?! ( work hard in uni hor?)
