Happy Friday!

--Lunch--
After days of rotting at home, Ah Ching finally stepped out of house to breathe in some fresh air. Lolz! Went to meet up SC for our movie earlier on..but was late for 30mins..very sorry abt that. E.W suggested us to have lunch @ Han Ka Ram! wow wow! Korean food! Showed u some pics of what we had today...(cant finished..pity sia!)
Ordered a Set A meal for 2 person...comes with steamed rice, 3 side dishes (Kim Chi, Honeyed ikan bilis & cold cucumber). SC had iced lemon tea, while E.W had giner & cinnamon tea while I had my usual citron tea..super frangrant! Check out the pics..
Stirred fried rice cakes!!! my first time man! nice nice..but don't know why i kept "sensing" some hotdog or ham smell from the "fish cake"...oh man cant stand it...lolz! Anyway, it's delicious! (not in the set meal tho)

--Shopping--
Went to the "Sasha's" shop @ Heeren..and bought 2 teddies "Fluffie" for Tuan and "Furrie" for myself...hehe! (still got 60% off wor)...while SC bought her doggie...this gal..dunno buy how many sashas this month liao...lolz!
--Mr Bean's holiday--
Didnt expect so many ppl wld watch it..i thot it's finishing run soon..lolz! Anyway, the movie was alright...tho' I couldnt stand the disgusting scene when Mr Bean threw the raw oysters into the woman's handbag...yucks! Hahah! Kept laughing most of the time, but i thot the original tv series were much better..I dun understand why he could speak "yes" or "no" in French but not "thank you" leh..kept uttering "gracias" which is spanish..lolz!
--Aftermath--
Planning to meet up with Tuan @ PS, so walked down from Cine la...didnt find any suitable bag or blouse for Tuan. So shall go hunt again this sun...hoho!
Went to PS and E.W saw this Hyundai Fair @ the atrium...mama thinks it's quite worthwhile to change a new car, but the chances are slim, coz' u know Mr Chean ah...lolz! Nvm...still anticipating tho...

TV Drama Review #67 - Dal Ja's Spring 达子的春天

What's it abt?
Oh Dal Ja is 33 years old and she is an MD of a home shopping channel. She has a "love contract" with Kang Tae Bong, a 27 year old freelancer of a playmate enterprise. She also met Eom Ki Joong, who was preparing to get a divorce. Dal Ja struggled as she was not sure if she shld follow her heart and date Tae Bong or follow her brains and date Ki Joong, who was the older guy. Later, Tae Bong's real identity was revealed and he used to be a top-notch lawyer who took a long rest for some reason.
The story also revolves around Dal Ja's life with other people around her, how they faced with their love lives and how women faced their problems.
Loves & Hates:
Plot was quite interesting, though there are plenty of kdramas featuring women in their 30s and their love problems. Pls dont link this drama to "Sam Soon" ah..haha! (tho' they are kinda same somehow..like older woman falling for younger man etc) I like some narrations by Dal Ja herself and her "dreams", which are the parodies u cld easily identified from movies and dramas. If u still dun get it, it's just Dal Ja putting herself into the drama...or when her mum "dreams" abt the couple..for eg..she acted as Hwang Jini in one of her dreams and in epi 16..she was featured in a "Goong" background. There are other themes like Kill bill in epi 1, Romeo & Juliet in epi 16 etc. super funny! Perhaps this drama is kinda close to reality, I find it quite comfortable to follow and accept some ideology from the characters. Hmm, like the ending "comic" scene in every epi, which tells u what's gg on in the next epi...something different from other dramas sia. Butta, the plot fell back to the standard kr style storyline towards the end...abit disappointed that the drama could not continue it's 'uniqueness' thru'out.
Cast- Hmm..who dont know Chae Rim? Her big eyes are really cute la. Was kinda shocked to see her image coz' she got this super curly hair and thick make-up. Well, she ain't 30 yet butta she needs to act as a 33 yr old woman la..so gotta make herself looked older. Honestly, i do like her new image now...so full of life.. Acting leh? I have nv doubt CR's acting skills..Dal Ja is the soul in this drama...full of expressions...
Lee Min Ki...this's his 1st drama i had seen...not very handsome, but he's still not too bad as Tae Bong. His character is ok la, butta i gotta say this's Dal Ja's one gal show...so his developments arent tt much. Do watch out as TB's identity reveals slowly la..hehe!
Lee Hyun Woo..he always gave me the same expression, and same image in almost all his dramas. Err...can i expect anything new from u next time? Honestly, his character was not even the supporting actor la...coz quite little scenes. So, got little to comment...but he didnt impressed me much.
Se Do & Seon Joo..this couple was quite interesting as well...didnt know the 2 actors initially, but their acting was good. Initially Seon Joo was not in gd terms with Dal Ja, but i really like them after they became gd pals...supporters of each other.
Worth watching?
How can u miss it? Must watch ah! Ost was nice too...especially the themesong & some other side tracks.

Well, gotta say paiseh lah, zhao dai bu zhou. Ended up have to depend on E.W & Tuan to entertain my pals on & off. Hehe! But luckily my mum and sis knew most of them,so not much of a problem. Weather was super hot la, and my pals cant imagine me wearing my that D.P shirt..ya gals,i was sweating like mad i guessed. Lolz! Missed the fun some gals had with the mini mahjong set, and nobody wanna play "zhong ji mi ma"...so sad la! Hahaha!
Going to have a gathering after exams ba, PY super on liao! Hahaha! Shall not disclose too much here...wait & see!
Also, HL, ML & PF are going to taiwan this hols...so envious of them! How I wish i cld go too. Haiz~ when will my turn come huh? Sobbzz..

AMK Hub

--Today--
Went to AMK Hub with E.W,aunt Jo & Tuan. It's my first visit there lah...accompanied Tuan to see if she cld find any suitable bags.
Tuan bought a nice blouse @ G2000...not cheap sia..lolz! Then went to check out the NTUC Xtra..kinda same as any other hypermarts la..
Had dinner @ The Soup restaurant...my 1st time also..lolz! Ambience shld be better than the one @ Hg mall..butta we were allocated to a lousy location..."sandwiched" b/w 2 pillars...so little space and super small table la..bengz!

Ordered a set meal for 3 ppl...the 1st dish..."Huang gua w/ chicken or pork rib soup"...
Their signature dish..."Sansui Chicken"...how i wish there's chili sauce...
3rd dish..."sliced fish"..
4th dish...prawns..
The extra dish E.W ordered..spicy tofu...yummy!
Tuan's fav dish....5th dish...mushroom & broccolis...
Dessert....Bai guo with bai mu er...
Service was average...but abit buay tahan when their waitresses kept saying "welcome in" & " pls come again" for dunno how many times...abit too "friendly" ah..lolz!
Went back to HG mall...Tuan bought a pair of pants from "Sense". Haiz~she cldnt find a nice baggy la...saw one @ Bata, but E.W found some prob with the bag..so gone case.
She's gg to start her attachment from mon le..all the best to her! hehe!

Wanna mention this gal..coz she sent me 3 hotmail e-mails and 1 yahoo e-mail..with the same content. Hahaha! I regret didnt let her know my gmail one..Anyway, she did gave me a suprise present la...that's a video of her in her hostel. Very sweet of you ah! I will help u eat your cake ok? Hahaha! Well, thanks for your "cakes" and birthday song. Thank you thank you!! Hen you xin ah ni~ hahaha! The most funniest part was from her room mate..

Bukit Timah

--Bukit Timah Hike--
Woke up early in the morning and saw the grey sky. Was worried about the weather again la...but luckily, the weather is not tt bad today. No sunlight but very humid...Met up the gals in 151 and off we go to our destination... (Btw, forgot to switch back my cam mode to normal, so some pics were kinda yellowish coz' they were in sunset mode...paiseh ah!)

History of Bukit Timah...

1st part of our hike...getting steep..was kinda out of breath liao...super lousy ching! Haiz...
The map with 4 major routes to reach the summit...followed the majority and took the blue route..shortest route to the summit..est 35 mins.

When i saw these steps...nearly fainted. However, this is the shortest route to reach the summit liao...bengz!

At the summit la~ Err..kinda speechless when i saw a hut beside this rock. I guess the summit is not as attractive as Mt Faber's...coz cant see any sceneries from far...abit sian la! But nevertheless, I cld tell others tt I've been to Bkt Timah liao! Hehehe!

On our way back...heard some noise from somewhere..but i thot its from some animals. So asked the gals to keep quiet for a min and the noise was quite clear sia...ended up...it's from my hp vibration...wahahhahahhha!

You can get to know the vegetation and insect/animal species which are in the nature reserve..
Super tired after the hiking trip...really lousy ne~ Hahaaha! My toes were feeling uncomfortable when we were walking back on the steep slopes lah....painful sia!

--Orchard--

Had lunch @ Far East...went to have Ramen which was reco by SC. Quite alot of choices, but better dun go during lunch hrs..coz u need to queue. I had "Hot & spicy beef noodle" lah, tasted quite delicious...haha!

Shopped ard and SC bought her stuff....walked over to Wheellock, Wisma & Taka before heading home....with a pair of tired legs...lolz!
