TV Drama Review #199 - The Cityhall 市政厅

No.of Epis: 20
Year/TV Station: 2009/SBS
Cast:
Cha Seung Won ~ Jo Guk
Kim Sun Ah ~ Shin Mi Rae
Choo Sang Mi ~ Min Joo Hwa
Lee Hyung Chul ~ Lee Jung Do
Yoon Se Ah ~ Go Go Hae
Lee Joon Hyuk ~ Ha Soo In
Synopsis: (edited from Soompi)
Shin Mi Rae is a naive and warm-hearted civil servant who unwittingly becomes the Mayor of Inju City. She is thrust into the spotlight by Jo Guk, a young and brilliant politician, who is using her for his own presidential ambitions. Their personalities and beliefs can't be more different. Mi Rae believes in giving service as a politician, while Jo Guk believes in stepping on others and back-stabbing, if needed, to get ahead. Love starts to blossom b/w the two, but Go Hae, Jo Guk's fiancee comes into the picture and Mi Rae soon learns about Jo Guk's real motive.
Slacker's review:
To be honest, I was skeptical about dramas dealing with politics. I was not sure if I would enjoy Cha Seung Won's performance (as he's not the original person for the role). I did not have the motivation to watch it immediately, coz' "The Accidental Couple" was way more interesting than I thought (and it's during exam period...lolz!) Well, I was totally wrong. The plot was alright, very straightforward and there's no big twists. What made this drama interesting was the cast. The interactions b/w the characters made the drama very entertaining, but serious when they were back to business. I gotta say kudos to the screenwriter who made this "all-so-boring" political drama into such a funny & touching one. I could not find fault with this drama, as the execution of the drama was great, and there were so many memorable moments b/w the 2 leads. As usual, there was this "love & hate" stuff going on, but I liked how the characters became strong despite all the obstacles b/w them.
The biggest draw for me to watch "Cityhall" was Kim Sun Ah. She was still very "Sam Soon" when she's in "WIAN", but finally I could install a new image of her with her new role Mi Rae. Ok, I still hate the fact that she looked very "auntie" here, but at least, Mi Rae was very different from her previous roles. Mi Rae might be a simple & naive girl, but she's far from being dumb. I thought she's pretty strong despite facing hardships. The character had so many developments and it's a good chance to see KSA's flawless acting. She was damn funny when Mi Rae took part in a pageant; she was damn pathetic when Mi Rae was "attacked" by eggs & tomatoes; she was so sweet when she's in love with her Gukkie; she was decisive when she worked as a mayor etc. KSA's chemistry with CSW was terrific!!! Loved all their scenes together...hoho!!
I have to say a big sorry for doubting Mr Cha. Haha! I knew he's a good movie actor, but his last tv drama did not impress me la. CSW seemed to be very serious, but that's really on surface. Haha! He's super duper lame in the drama, but that's before Jo Guk fell hard for Mi Rae (& he's kinda romantic as well). Jo Guk was quite a serious guy actually, but he's quite cheeky as well. It's really funny to watch this super tall guy acting funny with a straight face. Anyway, Jo Guk is a character with depth too. He seemed to know his priorities, but the guy struggled when obstacles surfaced. He tend to run away from his problems, but I'm glad he's back on the right track in the end. From using Mi Rae, to falling in love with her, and to prevent her from getting hurt, Jo Guk's love to the lady was expressed in different layers. I liked to see Jo Guk & his father's scenes, though most of the time the situations were filled with anger, betrayal and sadness. We got to see the guy who yearned to be recognised by his father, who did not shower him with care & love since young.
The main side story was b/w the married couple Joo Hwa (CSM) & Jung Do (LHC). There were lots of bickering & misunderstanding b/w the couple, but there were some bittersweet moments b/w them too. Joo Hwa was Mi Rae's enemy from the start, and I did not like her. Ha! But well, it's nice to see Chu Sang Mi after a long time.
Yoon Se Ah's Go Hae was really practical and realistic, and I disliked her so much. I am a little disappointed tt YSA was still acting as a support role till now. I guessed she really need a good role.
OST was alright, only one of the ballads left me a deep impression.

Family Gathering

First of all, gotta thank ML for telling me how to solve blogger's problem. I've been cursing blogger for days! Lolz!
--Olive Tree @ InterContinental--
It's rare for me to have a meal at hotel la. Hehe! Went to have my high-tea "lunch" with my family & Aunt Jo. The buffet consisted of various Asian food, though there's raw oysters la. Choices were kinda limited, but the food was not too bad. The desserts were nice too, consisting of fruits, ice cream/sorbet, kuehs, cakes etc. Just took some pics of what I ate there...
The oysters were really great. I was surprised that they were not stinky at all. The chili crab was alright, it's flower crab la, so not much meat. I liked the "indian" curry chicken too (forgot the exact name). Oh ya..and I loved the bah kut teh!!! (and I drank two bowls of the soup~)
This was my 2nd plate. Not much choices for sushi, but they were delicious. The siew mais were great too. I tried the thai olive rice and the mini asian pizza. Of coz, must eat more oysters to make the meal worthwhile right? Hahaha!
There's free flow of coffee & tea la. (Have to pay extra for juices~) This was my dessert plate. The peaches were so delicious. I only dipped marshmallow in the fondue la, did not like to eat fruits with chocolate. Haha! I only ate tiramisu among the cakes available, and it's NICE!
E.W's special ordered sandwich.
--Illuma--
Walked over to check out the new mall, but the shops were kinda disappointing? So we did not spent much time there and we went to...
--ION Orchard--
Ho! The mrt area changed quite abit! The mall was flooded with people, especially the basement floors. Basically, there were many new shops, but we went into those familiar ones. Lolz~ Bumped into Seb at the food court area...hoho! Saw some nice bags at Everbest, but the prices were kinda steep for non-leather bags. I saw a very nice leather sling bag at Fossil!!! Haiz...need to earn money to buy myself one next time.
The branded shops were located above ground level, and the crowd was at the usual shops la...Burberry, Longchamp etc. Ha! Ah Ching too poor to buy stuffs there.
Before heading home, how can I missed out Dunkin' Donuts!!! I bought my bavarian filled!! The queue was a little long, but it's because there's only one cashier. Many ppl in the forums said the donuts craze has died out, but it's not really the case yeah? I bought half a dozen at 7 bucks. Going to enjoy my donuts for supper later! Yippee~

CC Gang Gathering: HM's Birthday Celebration

--Billy Bomber @ The Cathay--
Met up with the gals to celebrate HM's bdae in advance. It's a pity that PY could not join us...again. Hope everything is fine for her. I haven't step into Billy Bomber for ages, and their set lunches looked great. $14++ including main dish, a drink and a dessert ice cream.

CH & HM's fried chicken set lunch with Cheese & tomato. I think it's too cheesy for the girls ya?

We have more takers for the Grilled Dory fillet with creamy mushroom sauce. It's simply delicious!!!
--Harry Potter & the Half-Blood Prince--
Zorpia Photo Sharing: Free Unlimited Storage & Bandwidth
Watched the digital version at the Grand Cathay. I was not impressed with "Order of the Phoenix", but I decided to give the 6th sequel a try. I think many ppl would find "Half-blood prince" boring, coz' there were lots of talking & little action. Also, there's a lack of climax in the plot la. For a 154 mins long movie, I guessed we do need some more actions to keep us "awake". Nevertheless, I enjoyed the romance scenes between the characters. It's just too funny, thanks to Ron who kena the love spell. Haha! Could not stand that Lavender too, and I kept cursing her when she's on screen. Lolz! The rest of the cast was alright, and it's nice to see Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) again. Ending was sad, as Dumbledore was killed and it turned out that Snape was the half-blood prince. Hoho! Well, I think this movie was alright, and I preferred it much more than "Order of the Phoenix". Though I'm not a Harry Potter fan, I think I will be watching the last sequel la. Hehe! Must put a nice full stop to the movie.
Also, had a great time with the girls. I think we'll be meeting soon ya? Hehe!

CB Gang Gathering @ 23/07/09

--Bishamon Sapporo Ramen @ Raffles City--
Zorpia Photo Sharing: Free Unlimited Storage & Bandwidth
My Nabe ramen with salomon. The soup was rich & delicious, and the noodles tasted very different from Ajisen's ramen. The food was good, but the service from their crew could be better. Anyway, the restaurant was really noisy and crampy la. I would prefer to eat at somewhere with better comfort.
--Rooftop @ Esplanade--
My first visit to Esplanade's rooftop! Sua gu right. The gang decided to find somewhere to sit down & chat, and the best thing was...no need to spend a cent. Haha! Anyway, the view from the rooftop was excellent! Got to see some ppl rehearsing for NDP at the floating stage. The night view of our CBD area was nice too, but too bad my cam batt could not last me for long. Just got a few pics to share...

We had lots of fun chatting about culture differences of various countries, and of coz, must mention that we met a few insects too. (The rooftop not very clean ah~) Hehe!

Fort Canning Park

--Saizeriya @ Liang Court--
Wanna intro this restaurant to SC, but I am not sure if this restaurant is really worth recommending now. Lolz~
My seafood spaghetti. Honestly, it’s not nice. The tomato sauce was really blend, though the seafood was great.
SC’s grilled chicken hotplate. I think their burger set looked more delicious?
--Fort Canning Park--
I have not visit the park for years. I think the “hike” did not last for an hour as there were only a few spots for us to cover.
Up we go~
Some more steps to go, before I realised that we did not have to climb so high up~ Lolz!
View of the CBD area from FCP.
Raffles’ house.
Fort Canning Lighthouse.
One of the 9-pound cannons found in the park.
Keramat Iskandar Syah.
One of the two Gothic Gates.
The last few tombstones at Fort Canning Green. I was quite disappointed that I could not find saga seeds at FCG anymore. E.W actually asked me to pick a few more to fill up the bottle. Well, came too late la.
The other tombstones which were removed were set into the walls at FCG.

The Cupolas.
Fort Canning Centre.
The back view of the Gate of Fort Canning. I shld have taken the front view!
What's this little hole?
It leads to the stairs...
We were on top of the gate.
That's the stairways from the narrow hole.
Entrance of Battle Box. We did not go into the Battle Box as we need to purchase tickets and I think someone would bring us in. Kinda troublesome~
We walked over to the “Asean Sculpture Garden” beside FCG. Honestly, the sculptures were far from impressive. The above was called “Concentration” (Thailand).
“Together” (Brunei).
Did not check out which country it’s from.
“Augury” (Malaysia).
I did not take photos of some attractions, like the Spice Garden & James Brooke Napier Memorial at FCG. We had missed out two attractions too, like the Sally Port & the Archaeological Excavation Site.
--PS--
We walked over to PS to meet E.W, Tuan & Aunt Jo. The first thing Tuan asked SC was when she’s free to play mahjong. Faints~ Anyway, Shelie came later on to meet up with SC. That girl is still the same ah~ Hehe!

Btw, I've found other places where they are saga seeds. Hoho! (Problem is...when will I go & pick them up. Lolz~)

Suay Me~

Alright, it's partly my fault for "anyhow" send resume. Haha! Anyway, received a call for an interview by this co, Jxxx. However, i went to check and realised that the co which I applied to was not the same company (it's Axxx). The interesting thing is, they have the same address. I was reminded of not able to find the the Axxx's website yday. (Something's fishy...). Went to google about Jxxx and I found out it's actually a company under Cxxx, which does MLM. Saw so many ppl commenting about these cos under Cxxx and the real truth of the jobs they offer.
So, Ah Ching is gg to skip interview tmr. I'm wondering if that woman wld call me up tmr and give me a scolding. Lolz!

TV Drama Review #198 - MW Chapter 0: Akuma no Game MW 第0章 恶魔的游戏

No.of Epis: 1
Year/TV Station: 2009/NTV
Cast:
Tamaki Hiroshi ~ Michio Yuki
Sato Takeru ~ Morioka Takashi
Tanimura Mitsuki ~ Watanabe Yukari
Koide Keisuke ~ Sakurada Kousuke
Synopsis: (from Dramawiki)
The drama is set several months before the actual story in Tezuka's manga. The main character is a man named Morioka Takashi, who has lost his job and his home due to a recession. He ends up falling into a trap set by the diabolical Michio Yuki, and in order to protect the things important to him, he is forced to stain his hands in evil.
Slacker's review:
This is a drama special for the movie "MW", which is premiering this month in Japan. Plot was kinda dark & mysterious, but this is not a detective thriller. Seriously, the drama special was more about what Michio did before u got to know him more in the movie itself. (He's really a killing machine, with brains~) The drama special didn't explain anything about this "MW" thing, thus it seemed to be "no head no tail" for ppl who is not watching the movie. ("MW" is a chemical weapon btw). The drama special did not seemed to be linked to the movie in any way, and the ppl who were involved in this case were all killed, except for Yukari. Morioka & Sakurada made a grave mistake for believing Michio that they "could change the world". That's just a tactic Michio used to control the guys to help him commit crimes.
Tamaki's Michio is one of the leads in "MW", the other lead is Yamada Takayuki. Seriously, I thought Tamaki looked great as a villian in a movie. Haha! His expressions and the way he spoke were really "devilish". Sato's performance was not bad too. I rmbed the part where Morioka was forced to find out who killed his father. One of the two guys were the murderer, but if Morioka killed the wrong guy, he might get killed and could not save Yukari. Morioka went kinda hysterical at that point. Anyway, Sato's previous roles seemed to be more like a "pretty boy", but he proved that he could do more than that. Haha!
Well, I am not sure if "MW" wld come to SG, but I think the SP is worth a look if u wanna see a new Tamaki.

TV Drama Review #197 - The Silver Chamber of Sorrows 银楼金粉

No.of Epis: 21
Year/TV Station: 2008/TVB
Cast:
Paul Chun ~ Shang Keng
Lawrence Ng ~ Shang Yun
Nancy Sit ~ Sai Xiao Die
Rebecca Chan ~ Lian Nian Wang
Christine Ng ~ Cheng Xiu Xing
Nancy Wu ~ Xia Fei Fei
Winnie Yeung ~ Shen Yong Tong
Shirley Yeung ~ Qiu Ju
Charmaine Li ~ Shang Ke Yi
Jack Wu ~ Zhou Zhi Cheng
Synopsis: (edited from Wikipedia)
Shang's Silver Chamber, the largest jewel company in Foshan, is facing serious financial difficulties. In order to obtain a loan from Shen family, Shang Keng, owner of the Chamber, together with his primary wife, Xiao Die, plot to arrange marriage between Keng's younger brother Yun, and Yong Tong, daughter of Shen’s family. Fueled by hatred, Xiu Xing, Yun’s lover, marries Keng and ironically becomes Yun’s sister-in-law. Yun falls out with Keng, and opts to live abroad and disconnects from his family. After leaving home for years, Yun does not return home until the occasion to celebrate his father’s birthday. Tension between the two brothers comes to a head when Keng is reluctant to pay ransom to save Yun's son.
Since Yun’s return, Xiu Xing suffers from her husband’s neglect and gets framed for causing the fourth concubine Fei Fei’s miscarriage. Filled with hatred, Xing starts to take revenge and wants to take over Xiao Die's position in the family. Intentionally, she unveils tt her personal maid Qiu Jiu is Keng’s illegitimate daughter. The dark age of a once-prominent family begins.
Slacker's review:
If you can't get enough of scheming women in dramas such as "War & Beauty", then this drama is for you. Haha! "Silver Chamber" had one of the most solid plots I've ever seen from TVB. The hatred of the women was built up by many tensions, which also led to other characters' misfortune. Besides the women, the most impt man in the drama, Shang Keng, is also a very scheming man. If you think this drama was just about women fighting for positions etc, then you're wrong. I think the drama wanted to bring out a bigger picture about the problems of the old Chinese society, and how those old and inflexible traditions bound & blinded people. The drama was in a good pace, and the development of the plot was intensifying. There was no big twists in the drama, though Qiu Ju's real identity was quite an interesting twist. Ending episode was nicely done, though there's still a lot of actions in the 1st 20 min or so.
The cast consisted of many veteran actors & actresses. You can't find fault in their acting & performances. I have watched Paul Chun's acting since young, but this is the first time I felt impressed by his performance, though I hate Keng like hell. Lolz! Keng was one classic character who lived with the old traditions, thus he thought he could control everybody in his household, like his own property. Keng wld just get rid of those who was a threat to him, or betrayed him. He's smart too, coz' he did not need to use his own hands to do those dirty jobs. Keng did not feel remorseful for what he did even till the last min of his life.
I rmbed how much I disliked Lawrence Ng when he's in "The Drive of Life". Now, he's the super good guy in the drama, but I thought there's not much kick from him. Compared to his brother, Yun was much more of a coward. If he was steadfast in his love for Xing, he could just ignored the arranged marriage and elope with Xing. On the surface, Yun seemed to be very westernised with his lifestyle and mindset, but deep down, he's still very much a traditional guy who could not forsake his family. There were many scenes b/w Lawrence & Christine, and I thought their chemistry was good. But sadly, most of their scenes were filled with too much sorrow & hatred.
Nancy Wu's character Xiao Die was very much a good person in the drama too. Her only mistake was probably lying to Xing. Nancy had the aura of the mistress-in-charge of the household, and I liked how Die realised that old traditions had actually harmed ppl ard her, and history would continue to repeat itself, so she tried to change it and defied Keng.
Christine Ng's character Xiu Xing had the most drastic change in terms of development. She was a quiet woman who hardly stepped out of her room. But after Yun returned with his family, things started to change. Her world started to tear apart when she learnt that Keng & Die lied about Yun forsaking her. She was also constantly bullied by Wang & got framed by Fei Fei. Finally, the volcano inside her erupted, and she wanted to destroy the Shang household. Xing became very scheming, and she even made use of innocent ppl like Ke Yi & Qiu Ju, who were dragged into the whole misery.
Other supporting cast were great too; Rebecca's Wang was a super big-mouth, and her son died later on. Quite a pathetic character as she became insane & lost all her memories of her husband & son. Shirley's Qiu Ju was a very nice girl, but life became harder when she learnt about her mother & her identity. Glad that Qiu Ju & Zhi Cheng had a good ending.
Theme song is "Ren Ming" by Ivana Wong, a very nice but sad song.

Slacky monday~

E.W & Tuan went to Ikea, and bought me a new swivel chair. Well, it has been quite sometime since I got to sit on a brand new chair. Lolz! It's not cheap ah, must sit carefully. Hahaha!
Went to SK with family later on, and E.W rejoined our Samsung family...with her new hp Preston.
On the other hand, Mr Chean kept saying he's getting the Iphone....(talk only~) Haha!
Anyway, finally got to see the lame widgets Samsung phones have nowadays. Saw the "fake call", "Go on diet" & "Stop smoking" widgets. Lame la! Hahaha! Also, Preston's widget menu is like my P3, got 3 sides. Cool leh! I liked the special wallpapers lo.
E.W also got Laneige's trial set free for buying Preston, but we must go to town to collect la. Bias de leh, only the purple & white sets have, black Prestons don't have. Why they must sterotype that girls don't like black? Lolz!

A Frozen Flower 霜花店

Slacker's review:
"A Frozen Flower" seemed to get lots of attention for its explicit scenes of sex and graphic violence. But this movie was really about a sad romance story, love b/w 2 men & a woman. Actually I believed that those viewers who had watched it would not get too high about those steamy scenes la. Like "Lust,Caution", I felt heavy-hearted while watching those scenes.
The storyline was fairly simple, and to be honest, I didn't feel that the plot has much depth. The King and Hong Lim were homosexuals. The King loved Hong Lim very much, but it's a one-sided affair. I guessed Hong Lim finally realised that he's "straight" after making out with the Queen. The love affair b/w Hong Lim & the Queen seemed to be more of lust, rather than love. (However, towards the end of the show, Hong Lim really seemed to love the Queen.) The King was a pathetic fella. He was betrayed by his court officials, and he began his killing spree. He was betrayed again by the person he loved so much, and he went literally mad, killing all those who knew about the secret. He was willing to forgive Hong Lim, but he was not given a chance to do so. Ending was expected la.
Joo Jin Mo won the 45th Baeksang Arts Awards' "Best Leading Actor" with his role as the King. I thought his acting was really good, as he portrayed the King's emotions very well. The loving gaze when he looked at Hong Lim, you could feel that the King was in bliss. I did not know how to say about his emotions when he was outside the Queen's chamber, kinda dejected as he knew what's going on inside. I think he might feel jealous too. I liked JJM's expressions when he questioned the queen & Hong Lim. His bloodshot eyes were filled with anger & betrayal. You could feel his pain la, but then he's still quite cruel to Hong Lim as he ordered the guy to be punished.
As compared to JJM, Jo In Sung's performance seemed to be two grades lower. As usual, the guy was quite expressionless most of the time, though u got to see him shed tears at different moments. I did not feel his love for the Queen, neither for the King. I gotta admit that JIS did quite well for his raunchy scenes with JJM & Song Ji Hyo. As an A-lister, he gotta try something "revolutionary" in order to stand out of the crowd. Acting as Hong Lim was quite a daring move for him, but his acting still has room for improvements.
Song Ji Hyo is no longer the ballerina I knew in "Goong". I think she has improved a lot. The girl had sacrificed quite a lot for this movie, going half-naked & doing those sexual explicit scenes. It's also a daring move for SJH as an actress, and I thought she has made a right choice. The Queen was quite a cold person, as she was neglected by the King. She must have felt terrible to know that her husband liked a guy, and it's a double blow when the King asked that guy to sleep with her. Though she was unwilling to do that with Hong Lim at first, the woman succumbed to her neglected feelings & desire and continued to see Hong Lim behind the King's back. Ending for the Queen was not shown, but I guessed it's not really important.
Overall, I thought "A Frozen Flower" was within my expectations, but I would not say it's a very good movie. Though it's hard not to get curious over those raunchy scenes, I think most of you would get over with it quickly and enjoy the real focus of the movie.

TV Drama Review #196 - Konkatsu! 结婚万岁

No.of Epis: 11
Year/TV Station: 2009/FujiTV
Cast:
Nakai Masahiro ~ Amamiya Kuniyuki
Ueto Aya ~ Hida Haruno
Sato Ryuta ~ Fukazawa Shigeru
Shaku Yumiko ~ Murase Yuko
Tanihara Shosuke ~ Nihei Takumi
Ryo ~ Takakura Makoto
Synopsis: (edited from Dramawiki)
Amamiya Kuniyuki is the unemployed son of a tonkatsu restaurant owner. He finds a temporary job that requires a married person, so he lies by saying that he has plans to marry, and he tries to find a mate through match-making sessions, where he meets Murase Yuko. Later, Kuniyuki is forced to keep up the charade by using Hida Haruno, he's good friend & a part-time worker from the restaurant. On the other hand, Shigeru, Kuniyuki's good buddy is also in love with Haruno.
Slacker's review:
It's a long-waited comeback for SMAP's leader Nakai to return to the drama scene. I have not watched his dramas before, though some of them were big hits. Well, my expectations were a little higher given tt the cast was quite strong. Sadly, it's another disappointment after "BOSS". The storyline was blend & the development was slow, and I found it hard to continue watching. The match-making sessions were funny, but too bad Kuni & Shigeru had not much luck. I thought the romance b/w Kuni & Haruno took too long to develop. I was rooting for this couple~! Initially, I thought Kuni liked Makoto, since he asked her to be his family, but the girl rejected him. (Thank goodness~) I thought "Konkatsu" was more about family & friendship ties, rather than marriage hunting or romance.
Nakai is not a good singer, but he's a good host & actor. Kuni was not a good character for Nakai to really show his acting. Nakai's performance was restricted, though he handled his character well. Kuni valued friendship alot, but was not observant when it came to romance. If Haruno never told him her true feelings, this couple would never be together. I wondered if Kuni really liked Haruno beforehand, maybe he did, but he did not know. It seemed a little sudden to see Kuni's realisation of his feelings as Kuni never showed his affections for Haruno before. I also liked the scenes b/w Nakai & Kohinata Fumiyo, who acted as his father. This dad-son r/s was quite interesting. I thought Kuni's dad really understood him well, though it's sad that Kuni did not like to eat tonkatsu.
Nice to see Ueto again. Haruno is probably very "un-Ueto" as this character did not act cute, and neither was she exaggerating. Happy to see Ueto trying all sorts of characters. Haruno was a simple & cheerful girl. She seemed to be optimistic, though having a hard time to find a job. Ueto did well in expressing her emotions, especially after Haruno confessed her feelings to Kuni, and told him that she would always be his good sister. Well, I'm happy that Haruno's efforts were not wasted la~~hehe!
Sato Ryuta's Shigeru was really a good buddy, and thanks to him, our Kuni-Haruno couple could be together. (It's sad to see him sacrificing his love though.)
Shaku Yumiko's character Yuko was alright, not particularly impressive to me. The interesting part was who Yuko ended up with in the end. That's kinda shocking, but I was glad that Yuko had realised what's more impt in a marriage.
Other support cast like Tanihara, Ryo & Ueda Tatsuya (Kat-tun) were great.
Theme song "Wedding Bell" by Puffy. Nice song from the girls.

Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs

--Ice Age 3 @ PS--
You must be wondering..."Ah Ching watched cartoon in cinemas meh?" Haha! Ok, there's always exceptions right? I had watched the previous season before, couldn't rmb if it was "Ice Age 1", "Ice Age 2", or both. Accompanied E.W, Aunt Jo & Tuan to catch the latest sequel. There's a 3D version la, but it's 10 bucks lo. So, we just watched the normal one. The movie was entertaining, and very funny. The inclusion of the dinosaurs were great too. I thought the super fierce dino could have more actions, as it was defeated too easily...though it's not dead in the end. The romance story of that animal who loved the nut was super funny too. Hahaha! The baby elephant Peach & the 3 baby dinos were cute too. Hehe! Highly recommend to those who wanna watch light-hearted movies.
--High-Tea @ Secret Recipe--
Did not have lunch. We had our usual cake high-tea sets.
Tuan's Choco cheese.
Aunt Jo's Choco banana.
My Chococ Indulgence. Hoho~
E.W ordered their fries. I loved them so much~super crunchy and delicious!!!
