Alright, so Tuan has received acceptance letter from Uni of Queensland as well, with an exemption of one year. Butta, they're starting sch next mth...pretty rush.

Comic Mkt Tour at Tokyo

This August TRIPS International and 77 Star brings you a 5-days-4-nights trip to TOKYO!
Beginning from 14 Aug (departure on 13 Aug night) to 18 Aug (departing Japan at evening).

There will be Animation, Manga drawing and Voice Acting Lessons held at the Yoyogi Animation School (http://yoani.jp/), followed by a visit to the Suginami Animation Museum (http://www.sam.or.jp/index.php). Finally, the visit to the Annual Comic Market (http://www.comiket.co.jp/index_e.html). Participants are entitled to one entire free day to explore Tokyo!

Chinatown

--Chinatown OG--
Went to walk ard with E.W & Aunt Jo. Chinatown was really flooded with ppl leh...Anyway, bought my first pair of Dorathy Perkins jeans with Tuan. Ha...it's my 1st pair of boot-cut anyway, err..it's a pity they don't have my fav straight cut.
--Hawker Centre--
So crossed the street and went to the newly renovated hawker centre for my dinner. Was craving for my fish porridge and yu sheng, but sadly, the uncle said he sold finished liao!!! OMG!!! I missed it! Haizzz....Sad ah....
My dinner for the day is the HK-styled steamed 松鱼头. It's my first time trying it also, not too bad...but without the sauce ah, the fish won't taste nice liao.
Well, when can i ever get to eat my fish porridge huh?! Soobbzzz....

--Akashi Japanese Restaurant--
Met up with HM & SC and walked over to Paragon for lunch. Walked around and saw "Akashi" la..nv tried their food before, price is reasonable.
Couldn't take a full view of my meal..ha! This is the Tenzaru Chasoba set. Quite delicious & it only costed 15 bucks. Btw, thought they served us complimentary Edamame...who knows when i saw the bill, that bowl of Edamame costed 4 bucks! Wah piangz..."forced" us to pay leh...sianz...
--Aftermath--
Continued to Taka for our mission of the day. Gotta thank HM for accompanying us la. Anyway, the place was flooded with ppl, can feel the GSS mood liao. Haha.
Hey girls...looking forward to our "date" on 26th ah. Hehe!

What's it abt?
Epi 1 "Birthday Party": Yoon Young is the person-in-charge of coma patient Lee So Hee's tranfer of hospital from an insurance company. However, doctor Jang refused to let Lee So Hee transfer out. Yoon Young felt uncomfortable while she's in the hospital.Ten years ago, her younger sister Hye Young went missing in the hospital. Yoon Young finally get to see her sister celebrating her birthday for her.....
Epi 2 "Crack": Ten years ago, Kang Su Jin was still a new nurse in Nam Won hospital. After knowing the secret b/w doc Jang & director, she has placed her hopes on doc Jang, who became her "lover". However, doc Jang is only concerned with his coma patient Lee So Hee. She hated the coma patient and did something to her....
Epi 3 "Necklace": Detective Choi has placed no hopes on his life, working only for money. He was supposed to handle a case regarding a missing girl which happened in the hospital 10 yrs ago. The only clue was the girl's necklace. He's back at the hospital for a reason, to get the director to leave the hosptial, so as to get more money to raise his daughter and stop the hosptial from closing down.
Epi 4 "Crimson Red": CD cover designer Hong Ah is born with "Yin Yang Eyes". She's used to it, but one day, a female ghost appeared and requested Hong Ah to kill her. Hong Ah later finds her way to the hospital, and found that the ghost is Lee So Hee, who happened to be her old friend...
Epi 5 "Doctor Jang Seo Won": Doc Jang left the hosp & wants to go to Incheon Airport. However, he found himself back at the hosp. He walked into the hosp and saw the others dead respectively. He found Hong Ah and So Hee in the operation room...and later, he went to find Yoon Young, who's trying to get open up the ceiling....
Love & Hates:
Plot-Wow! Quite excellent. Although from the synop, you don't really see the linkages of the stories, they are all linked up ok! It may be quite confusing initially as the stories all happened at the same time, just that it's from the characters' perspectives. So, we can have a better pic of what happened during that fateful night. Alright, there's 2 creepy person..the little girl and coma patient. I shall not disclose too much spoilers as it wld spoil the fun. So basically, all the fellas are sort of linked to either the girl or the patient la. Only Hong Ah wasn't killed by both of them...instead...it's doc jang..that kns fella. Also, Hong Ah's case was not really linked to what happened to the lil' girl. (but you will hate So Hee after that...oops!)
Anyway, the last epi has a nice twist..think i had sort of spilled out in my synop..
Pace was not bad, atmosphere of the drama was nicely done, and 4 directors filmed this drama. It's a nice project by cable tv OCN.
Cast-I think most of you wld only recognised Lee Se Eun, who acted in "Dae Jang Geum". The cast's performance was good. Butta, nothing much more to add on as their character developments were rather limited...
Worth watching?
I wld strongly recommend u guys to watch, it's better than some horror movies. I think Tudou has the complete series, but the atmosphere is definitely better if u watch from tv. If you have the guts, watch it!

死神の精度

--Accuracy of Death--
Finally, got Tuan to accompany me to watch this long anticipated movie by Kaneshiro Takeshi! Alright, he didn't disappoint me afterall. Really like the whole pace of the movie, how the stories flow from one story to another, how they are connected (it's pretty obvious, the movie didn't intend to even let u guess...no need to..), how the characters interacted with our grim reaper, and how Takeshi talked to his "dog". Hahaha! The cinema was full of laughter...gotta thank "Chiba" for bringing us his "humour",he's really funny at times, especially when he couldn't understand the "new lingos", so he interpreted them by their surfacing meaning. His other colleagues are really funny too, when they're at work and when they're listening to music. Lolz!
Wld not talk abt the plot, it's really good. (That means the novel version wld be much better lo!) Takeshi totally fits into his role, he cld be quite different with his 4 different images. Liked his last image when he's dealing with the old woman...so boyish looking ya? Konishi Manami was great too. Btw, she cld really sing la..."Sunny Day" is quite a nice song.
Well, to those who haven't give it a try...go and watch!

Btw, just changed my music theme la. Wanna intro this Chinese singer from Si Chuan (she's a tibetan ba..) "Ashita e no sanka" is alan's first japanese single. Pls stay tune to the chorus version, her singing is really damn good. Anyway, she has already realeased two other Japanese singles, plus a chinese EP ba. Hope u all wld like it!
