--Clouds--
Saw some lights reflected on the clouds...(see the pinkish area)..Sun is blocked by the big patch of clouds...Today's sunset is alright though...
--New Bag--
E.W bought a new bag for me...now it's the most expensive bag i have..haha! Anyway, it's a leather sling bag from Bonia. (I know somebody will say it's a auntie's brand...) Well, I am not too concerned abt that...Looks like i can bring it to work next time also..hehe! Thanks mum!

Update

Alright, Ah Ching won't be blogging much until exam is over la.
Still got some reviews left to write...
& I'm planning to catch Fann & Jang Hyuk's movie "Dance of the dragon" soon.
Also, I am thinking of buying Jeff Chang's new album..
Ok la, I am guilty of not buying his 2 previous albums..haha!
Though I think "Escape" is slightly better than his previous album "Be your man", I still preferred his canto album "Xue guo ba yue". That was really awesome!
And, I still haven't get used to his new hairdo...and I still need to get use to him singing songs like "ke ai mei mei"...if they don't use "mei mei" this term, I think i wld accept it right away..lolz!
Anyway, have been his die-hard fan for so long liao....(i just need some time..lolz!)
Btw, I am quite surprised to see him "working hard" to promo his new album, even ordinary tw programmes...i can see him there. Wow! Those who got scv, check him out ya?
Signing off here...ciao!

TV Drama Review #130 - Loss:Time:Life

How long? 11 epis
When & which tv stn? 2008/FujiTV
Who's in? (character name/Epi subtitle)
Epi 1: Eita as Nakayama Haruhiko / Camera man
Epi 2: Koyama Keiichiro as Tsunami Kota / Detective
Epi 3: Tomochika / Sukiyaki
Epi 4: Ueno Juri / Nurse
Epi 5: Ito Atsushi / Childhood Friend
Epi 6: Tanaka Naoki / Hero Show
Epi 7: Tokiwa Takako / Wife of a mob member
Epi 8: Maki Yoko / Director
Epi 9: Oizumi Yo / Hikikomori
Additional time: (Epi 10,11): Nukumizu Youichi / Omoto Yuzo Monogatari
What's it abt? ( from Dramawiki)
The title is taken from the Japanese term for stoppage time in soccer. In each episode, the lead character will be in a situation where he or she is about to die. Time suddenly stops and a mysterious group of referees appears, who grants the protagonist extra time based on the time wasted during that person's life. The story will explore the ways on how each of the characters decides to spend that extra time.
Love & Hates:
Plot-The standard storyline frame is that, all the characters would have some time left before the time rewinds back to the time when they die. I think only 2 of the characters survived their fate by having "extra time". Every character has his own story, and the last 2 "Additonal time" epis focused on the person who's actually in the entire drama from epi 1 onwards. I didn't really realise that he's in every epi ne! Some stories are quite boring while the others are not too bad. The concept of the drama is fresh, but just a pity that it cant continue to keep my interest as every epis is not linked.
Cast- Most of the cast is rather unknown to most ppl, except some big names like Eita & Ueno Juri from "Nodame", Tokiwa Takako from "Beautiful Life", Ito Atsushi from "Densha Otoko", plus Koyama from Johnny's NEWS.
OST- Themesong "Kimi Station" by Orange Range.
Worth watching?
Personally, I only like a few epis starring Eita, Ueno, Tokiwa and a few others. The others are average to me..If u are fans of Eita, Ueno or Tokiwa, suggest u to watch only the epi featuring them. Other wise, this drama is not really a must-watch.

TV Drama Review #129 - Get Karl! Oh Soo Jung 刀手吴秀晶

How long? 16 epis
When & which tv stn? 2007/SBS
Who's in?
Oh Ji Ho ~ Go Man Soo Karl
Uhm Jung Hwa ~ Oh Soo Jung
Kang Sung Jin ~ Jung Woo Tak
Park Da An ~ Yook Dae Soon
What's it abt?
8 years ago, fatso Go Man Soo was dumped by Oh Soo Jung at the wedding altar. Wanting to show Soo Jung that he wld live better, he went to the states and became the world famous golf PGA champion Karl. Soo Jung dumped Man Soo and left for the states too, but 8 yrs later, she's 34, a manager of a jewelry shop, and unmarried! She still wants to find a rich guy to marry and seeks her pal for help. Man Soo also returned to Korea and met that pal, who was shocked to see a slim and handsome Man Soo who's worth 5 billion dollars. Soo Jung decided to chase after Man Soo again, while Man Soo has decided to employ a con-man Jung Woo Tak to court Soo Jung and to dump her at the altar. Just then, Soo Jung's coworker Dae Soon began to fell for Man Soo...
Love & Hates:
Plot-Alright, the biggest attraction is to see Oh Jo Ho with his fatso look, just like the girl in "200 pounds". But sadly, that image wld only last for 1 epi. Actually, I didn't really like the storyline. I really can't stand such a "thick-faced" Soo Jung, and such a silly Man Soo, plus an evil woman with an innocent look. Everything's quite predictable, except for the reason why Soo Jung didn't get married in US. However, I really lol whenever i saw Soo Jung's pal Young Ae talking to Karl's manager...really funny! They're a super cute couple lo.
Cast-Uhm Jung Hwa is also a famous singer, but I think she is more famous for her movies. Alright, I bet many of u will think that she's not that young anymore (that's true..she's older than Oh Ji Ho lo.) Though i didn't like Soo Jung, i think UJH did pretty well to portray this imperfect character. On one hand, u really dislike her, but somehow, I am still pretty glad that she didn't desert her family. It's not easy to act such a "kns" character ne~ Chemistry with OJH is not bad, though somehow i think there's something missing.
I like OJH's performance in "Fantasy Couple", but I didn't quite like him here, may be becoz' I didn't like Karl la. I can understand he still love Soo Jung despite her betrayal, but many things just seemed unrealistic in reality. Karl is really contradicting, and I really disliked his decisions...and he's so naive abt Dae Soon...haiz...
The supporting guys, KSJ & PDA are "new" to me, as in, I have nv seen them b4. KSJ's performance was not bad...PDA's acting was kinda stiff, but i thought she got better when Dae Soon started to get evil...lolz! I am still not quite used to her image, didn't really fit her. But i saw one nice pic of her at Dramawiki! OMG! She looked so much better!
OST-Didn't quite like the songs here, and they recycled alot of times...lack of songs sia.
Worth watching?
It's not a must-watch, coz' the plot is not good enough. This drama is alright to get by, if you don't expect too much from it la..bear with Soo Jung though. Ha!
