I think I sound emo these days.
I hope the dark clouds above me wld go away soon.
Ex-dept boss called me at 7plus yesterday.
First question was, "Are you ok or not?" (Haha!)
Even he sensed that I'm having a hard time.
Well, I'm not facing some crisis now, so it is not a big deal actually.
I just hate things happening at the same time.
One mistake can lead the whole team to misery, a good lesson I learnt today.
3 mths ago, I expected lots of changes in my job.
But I did not anticipate how much is "lots of changes".
Changing of processes really made my life miserable, and it won't be stable in the near future.
My big boss is leaving us next month. New boss equals to new expectations and working style.
My temp's contract cannot be extended. They're dumping extra temp to my team....
One thing has not changed though, and that is to leave the co when my contract ends.
I think I don't want to stuck in Ops for life.

TV Drama Review #260 - Natsu no Koi wa Nijiiro ni Kagayaku 虹色夏恋
No.of Epis: 10Yr/TV Stn: 2010/Fuji TV
Cast:
Matsumoto Jun ~ Kusunoki Taiga
Takeuchi Yuko ~ Kitamura Shiori
Sawamura Ikki ~ Kusunoki Daiki
Kobayashi Seiran ~ Kitamura Umi
Synopsis: (edited from Dramawiki)
Taiga is a struggling second-generation actor who has developed a complex due to his father, a famous actor in his time. Taiga only get to appear in variety shows most of the time. One day, Taiga's friend brings him out for skydiving and he got stuck in a tree. A beautiful woman, Shiori, comes to his rescue. Shiori is a cheerful woman who laughs away all worries she has. She's exactly the opposite of Taiga. As Taiga falls for Shiori, he also learns about Shiori's past....
Slacker's review:
A simple love story. Nothing exaggerating & fanciful. Plot was a little plain to me, but it's still eventful, with lots of development unfolding b/w Taiga & Shiori. I thought the story was more about Taiga's summer, how he struggled to work his way up, how he met a beautiful and kind-hearted woman who raised a child alone....
Drama started out with Taiga narrating about his romance during summer. I nearly thought we were to expect a sad ending. Hahaha!
It's nice to see Takeuchi's comeback, and the actress was still in gd shape & executed great acting. Loved her scenes with child actress Kobayashi.
I'm nv a fan of Matsumoto, and I don't know why his acting never convinced me that he cld act. Well, to be fair, Matsumoto's acting was not that bad in "Natsu". Taiga is a character with depth. He struggled to prove to others that he cld act, and it was a difficult journey. I rmbed the scenes where Taiga learnt to pronounce Japanese words, and when he got trained for his stage performance. Scenes b/w Matsumoto and Takeuchi were quite touching too. Nice chemistry. But but but, there's still something lacking somewhere.....
Sawamura acted as the funny Daiki. He's quite an irritating fella ne~
Theme song "Love Rainbow" by Arashi....another standard sugar pop song from them, and the song lacks a punch.
Insert song is "Please Stay With Me" by YUI, and it's a much nicer song.

Simply exciting
I wanted to tell ppl Operations job is routine & boring.
But well, this is not the case for me yet.
There are always endless of "interesting" incidents waiting for me.
And now, a small exec like me is expected to explain things?
Wah ask my superior la.
I think I really need a head who is doing my job. Haiz~

CC Gang Gathering: 精武风云-陈真
--Cine @ Orchard--
I was waiting for traffic light at the road junction near Cineleisure where I spotted my 3 temps who were working at our Orchard branch. Haha!
Haven't met CC Gang for a few mths, and GC & SC cld nt make it today. PY was nt feeling well, but she still came to meet us for lunch. Thanks gal!
Had a good chat while having our lunch at Xin Wang HK Cafe. Their curry ramen tasted delicious. Hehe!
--Legend of the Fist: The Return of Chen Zhen--
PY left and the 4 of us went to watch Donnie Yen's new movie. Reviews for this movie was average, and I agree with the ratings. It's a watchable, standard HK action-hero movie. Plot was ordinary, but the action scenes were nicely executed by Donnie. As usual, our superhero Chen Zhen out beat all his enemies with stunning great moves, though his martial arts reminded me of Ip Man. Haha! Shu Qi was not too bad in her spy role, while Anthony Wong's Master Liu was quite entertaining. Japanese actor Kohata Ryu was great in his general role, while I got to see EXILE's Akira acting as the general's brother. Ending was kinda puzzling, as we saw another Shu Qi lookalike woman as another Japanese captain, while Chen Zhen continued to fight the Japanese.
Overall, Chen Zhen is still a decent movie, but be prepared for brutal scenes. Ha!
--TCC @ ION--
Had another chit-chat session with the gals at TCC. Their Iced Latte Mocha was nice! Hehe!
HM reminded me that I have actually known her for a gd 10 yrs. Hahaha! Time really flies...I knew most of them for so long le....Hope things won't change for the next 10 yrs.
