Kingsley is regarded as the youngest genius in physics and he is appointed as an associate professor in a Hong Kong university. Invited by his good friend Gordon, a Senior Police Inspector at Regional Crime Unit, Kingsley assists in cracking many mysterious crime cases and he also meets Xiao Li during the process. The rational Kingsley evaluates that he has fallen in love with Li because of a neurotransmitter called phenethylamine. However, owing to the huge difference in their family background and life value, Kingsley fails to tackle their ever-changing relationship problems with formulas. In the end, due to life changing experiences, Kingsley realizes that love cannot be rationalized and finally admits that his feelings to Li are true.
On the other hand, the romantic and uninhibited Gordon has been maintaining a sex only relationship with journalist Nickole. Gordon doesn't believe in eternity and he is only looking for sensual pleasure in a woman. However, his belief is suddenly shattered when he learns that Nickole is going to get married.
Slacker's review:
The first thing which came into my mind is..."Is this the HK version of 'Galileo'?" Anyway, the storyline is something new in HK dramas, but romance development was standard HK-style. I liked the individual cases, but romance b/w Kingsley and Xiao Li was a bit tiring...thanks to both families as well. Lolz!
Raymond's performance was quite good here. Very gentleman, and very handsome. Haha! However, his expressions were quite woody. (That's because Kingsley is one boring guy!) Chemistry with Tavia was not too bad, but they actually don't have too many scenes together.
Kenneth's character was more interesting, and he had so many bed scenes with different ladies! Lucky guy! Haha! I prefer to see a more serious Kenneth though. Chemistry with Bernice was good, and that's because they had the most romance scenes.
Tavia's performance was pretty standard, but I didn't like Xiao Li after she was ditched by Kingsley. I don't like to see woman who cried endlessly...lolz!
I never liked Bernice, but she's not bad here. Charismatic and confident.

Overseas Trip

My 1st ever F&E trip to China.
Will be visiting my grandparent's house in their village.
Can't imagine what will happen when we're there.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to my trip.

After hours of waiting, managed to do some testing in the afternoon. No lunch for me as I gotta wait for phone calls. While waiting, I was busy packing the files into the boxes...super tired. Finally, I left the office at 3pm plus & chiong to Yishun to meet my colleagues.

Saw the ex-temps gambling in the living room when I reached. Did not really chatted much as they were busy playing, while I was busy eating and watching KBS World. Lolz~ Met Fion & her husband, and later, Siti came together with her husband and her darling. Her kid is really a lovely child. Super nice smile & big big eyes! Haha! Fyi, I don't like to play with kids, but Siti's darling is an exception.
--Steamboat Dinner--
Decided to take taxi home as I was late for my dinner, and it was quite inconvenient to take public transport back home. Nice spread of seafood & abalone. Hoho!!

While I was having dinner, I heard some commotion outside my hse. The Chingay floats were in my estate! Went down to snap some pics..

Working on Sunday!!

My mood was spoilt when UAT testing failed on Friday, and now it's confirmed that I gotta go back to office tmr to do testing.

Haiz....got a gathering at colleague's house tmr too, and my dept ex & current staffs are going lor!!!

Pray hard I can leave early tmr.

Truth

Chatted with my ex-boss on and off recently, and every time I got to know things which I did not know.
It's kinda scary to know how your bosses think about you, though I do not know what's their impression of me la. I am still happily working without dealing any office politics, but I realised they are around me all the time.

That's working life.

--Nature's Harvest Cafe @ Fu Lu Shou Complex--
Went to SLT to do testing in the morning, and met up with E.W & Tuan for lunch at this vegetarian cafe. If you like organic food, do visit this cafe.
Vegetable sushi.
Very tasty organic veges with mushrooms.
My ramen with yuan yang. I don't think I'm drinking yuan yang though. Tasted too much like instant coffee. Lolz!
