[#5] had been writing 4 drama reviews in chinese. Today shall try writing it in eng. hehe! Below are 3 korean dramas which i had watched from comp.
[My Lovely Sam Soon] MBC Actors: Kim Sun Ah, Hyun Bin, Jung Ryu Won, Daniel Henney
One of my favourite dramas after "full house". Though this drama also has the contract marriage thingy like full house, the plot is totally different. Revolved in a western restaurant owned by Hyun Bin, Kim Sun Ah ( the korean Bridget Jones) worked as a baker. Hyun Bin's ex gal friend Ryu Won returned from US with her doctor Mr Daniel, who likes her lah. The ending few epis were super funny and nice...good ending..so u know who end up with who lah. What i like is more on the conversation between Ms Sam Soon and Mr Jin Heon. She's the typical woman who's in her 30s and kenna dumped, then kept going to match-making and of coz, cant find a gd man coz nearly all her match-making sessions were humptump by jin heon. hahaha! Sam Soon dont like her name and insisted to change to "Hee Jin", which was ryu won's name in the drama too. She was rather "chor lor"( eh...rough gal) lah..so many times we can see her in some messy scenes..haha! Kim Sun Ah's acting is great, while Hyun Bin not bad lah, though i think he can do more on his expressions. The other 2 are newbies, not bad wor..Mr Daniel spoke only eng in the drama...haha! cool!Highly recommend to people who likes laughters and tears in a drama lah!
[Let's go to the beach] SBS Actors: Lee Wan, Jun Jin, Lee Chung Ah , Kang Jung Hwa
Can classify as korean idol drama. The story revolved ard the beach, lifeguards and hotel. Acting skills i wld only rate average for the male leads & Chung ah-sshi. Didnt know that Ms kang acted in Dae Jang Geum before, she slimed down alot here. But her acting is really "fresh" sia, gotta work harder lor. Story plot was not very that interesting, becoz they played with the identification of siblings or cousins stuffs again. no creativity leh! Basically i was disappointed with the plot lah, but i watched the rest for Lee Wan and Jun Jin ( from shinhwa). haha! Like the part when jun jin was still the nice guy, though he turned bad @ the later part...haiz!
[Loveholic] KBS Actors: Kim Min Hee, Kangta, Lee Sun Kyun, Yoo In Young
The rating in korea was low, but it was a good try for Min Hee-sshi and kangta, his first korean drama. Plot was about teacher-student love, not that common in korean dramas yet. Then kangta's character kenna jail term for 5 yrs..actually he was not the real culprit ( min hee was the one). But min hee was sick lah and everything was too accidental, so he covered it for her.
Then their love story was back on track after they met each other ( Min hee was the restaurant manager while kangta became one of the cooks) and the same old thing happened here too, so many evil characters huh..haha! The whole drama is more on the sad or emotional side, ending can say is not bad lah, though min hee admitted her crimes and went to jail too while kang ta waited for her. People who dont know who is Kim Min Hee, she was the evil seung hee in "Glass Slippers"..who kept attacking Kim Hyun Joo...still cant remember? Her hairdo was very special before she went to rebond her hair. got it now? she is very different in this drama.
